FSA
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is an independent non-governmental body, given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. We are a company limited by guarantee and financed by the financial services industry. The Treasury appoints the FSA Board, which currently consists of a Chairman, a Chief Executive Officer, three Managing Directors, and 9 non-executive directors (including a lead non-executive member, the Deputy Chairman). This Board sets our overall policy, but day-to-day decisions and management of the staff are the responsibility of the Executive.

Forces Financial
For over twenty years, we have been providing Financial Services to ensure the special needs of British Forces personnel are met, wherever they are posted throughout the world. We operate through branches in Germany, Cyprus and the United Kingdom as well as through direct call centres and our website.
We are committed to offering a range of competitive financial services products in partnership with specialised insurers to meet the needs of HM Forces personnel and their families.
Through our branch network, we provide employment opportunities for partners of serving personnel and many of our friendly staff come from military families and backgrounds.
Military Financial
Military Financial has provided financial services exclusively to the U. S. Military since 1999. Our corporate philosophy is based on providing the highest level of service available to members of the armed forces worldwide.
Because our focus is on the U. S. Military, members of the armed forces may obtain a Rapid Cash Line of Credit from anywhere on the globe. We have provided our services to all ranks including E-1 through O-8.
In addition to courteous service, MFI’s "Military Only" charter provides an understanding that separates MFI from non-military lenders. For example, we understand the importance of the Military Power of Attorney (POA), and we will advance funds to a spouse or family member based on a POA. We understand that when a service member is changing duty stations (PCS), additional funds can assist during this transition.
Abacus
The problem with finance is that it's not very interesting.
But we're here to help you - and show you that even if it's not the most interesting subject in the world then at least it's worth spending a few minutes thinking about it. You'll be glad you did.
- What could be more interesting than having enough money to buy your own house when you leave the Armed Forces?
- What could be better than having no hassle with your bank?
- What could be better than knowing that someone else will pay if anything bad happens?
- What could be better than not having to worry about money when you retire?
Armed Forces Financial
The Armed Forces Financial Advisory Services (AFFAS) specialises in providing insurance advice and cover for servicemen and women. It has done so since 1973 when, with MOD approval, the Army Dependants' Trust was set up. Since then a variety of schemes, plans and policies have been introduced serving all ranks in our Armed Forces. Over the years the range of sponsored products has been extended to provide continued cover for those retiring from the Services, their wives or husbands. The lessons learned in conflict have been incorporated into each of our products and, in all areas, we offer modern and cost-effective contracts..
Armed Forces Financial services
AFFS was established in 2007 by a team of serving and ex service personnel. We know what it’s like to live life in the military, we understand the pressures and difficulties of the job so we created AFFS to offer an exclusive service to all those in the forces.
National Debtline
We offer debt advice for people living in different parts of the country. This is because the law concerning debt varies depending on whether you live in England and Wales or Scotland. You can be confident that the advice we offer is targeted to you.
